Creating categories helps organize your products and improve the customer shopping experience.

Create a New Category:

• Go to Products → Categories.

• Fill in the Following:

  • Name: Add a clear category name (e.g., Clothing, Electronics).

  • Slug: Customize or auto-generate a URL-friendly version.

  • Parent Category: Set this if it’s a subcategory.

  • Description: Optional, but useful for SEO and clarity.

  • Display Type: Choose to show Products, Subcategories, or Both.

  • Thumbnail: Upload an image for the category.

• Click “Add New Category” to Save.

Manage Existing Categories:

• Edit: Hover over a category and click “Edit” to update details.

• Delete: Click “Delete” to remove the category. Products remain in your store.

• Rearrange: Drag and drop to reorder categories.

• Assign Products: While editing or adding a product, select the applicable categories in the right-hand panel.
